Denis Hale is the director of ACTIVE Management Rights.

I have been involved in the Tourist and Accommodation Industry for 20 years, during which time I have owned and operated, and acted as a relief manager in both holiday and permanent residential complexes, both in Brisbane and and the Gold Coast. These complexes ranged from 13 to 183 units, and have provided me with a wealth of knowledge in the day to day running of Management Rights businesses.

 About 8 years ago I started the City Point Resident Unit Manager's Group who meet every 2nd Thursday of the month at the Bookmakers Club in Wharf Street, City at 6.30pm to exchange ideas and listen to Key Note speakers in the industry. The group has grown to the extent that we now have joined forces with QRAMA to further expand the knowledge and benefits to our members. I have been running the Real Estate Institute of Queensland Information Seminars for the last 4 years and from time to do lectures in "Practical Skills in Operating Management Rights." These classes have proven to be immensely popular with new managers.
